The Position

This position has overall accountability for completing the manufacturing tasks as scheduled while in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Roche’s corporate principles, quality policies and standards.
The Opportunity
Manufacturing Operations
Prepare and operate small equipment, sterilize vessels, and prepare solutions.
Monitor and operatebiochemical processing equipmentwhile ensuring process integrity.
Conductraw material sampling, dispensing, and environmental monitoring.
Process & Equipment Management
Troubleshootequipment and process issuesas needed.
Supportprocess improvement initiativesto enhance efficiency.
Utilizecomputer systemsfor process control and data entry.
Safety & Compliance
Collaboration & Decision-Making
Participate instaff meetings, shift handovers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Workindependently with limited supervision, making decisions within established policies and procedures.
Provide recommendations for improvingoperational policies and procedureswhen necessary.

Safety, Health & Environment:
Comply with all RSTO’s Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace accidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.
Observe all RSTO’s site security measures at all times, and report any suspicious characters/objects & damaged security mechanisms to Site Security immediately.
Lean Production System:
Embody PT Lean Production System (LPS), while demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset and behaviors through the use and application of LPS tools for continuous improvement initiatives.
Who You Are
Minimum 3 years of related working experience for diploma equivalent holders (Diploma in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline or equivalent holders) with combination of education and relative work experience.
Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication and team skills.
Must be a self-starter with a strong focus on safety, quality, details and results.
Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts and overtime as required.
Must be able to carry heavy loads of up to 25kg.
Mechanical aptitude and a familiarity with computer based systems are highly desirable.
Preferred
Background in microbiology, fermentation, or protein purification is desired.
Willing to work at Singapore Tuas Bay Link (Company shuttle bus is provided).
