Role:
The Media Planner is a crucial role that will enable us to craft, execute, and optimize digital media campaigns that achieve client goals and maximize ROI. Specifically, this entails:
- Researching market trends, audience behavior, and competitor strategies to identify the best media opportunities.
- Developing and managing campaign budgets while negotiating media costs to optimize returns.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to design tailored media strategies that align with objectives.
- Monitoring campaign performance and providing actionable insights for optimization.
This role demands a mastery level of media planning, campaign management, budget allocation, market analysis, and client communication. To be successful, you must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying new digital opportunities.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives and recommend media strategies that align with their goals.
- Negotiate and purchase digital advertising spaces while managing campaign budgets effectively.
- Develop and implement media plans for fully integrated campaigns.
- Monitor ad delivery and recommend campaign optimizations to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify upsell opportunities to expand client accounts and grow revenue.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams to execute campaigns that align with client and company objectives.
- Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure all media strategies are in line with Primal’s processes and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest digital media trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance skills and ensure efficient execution of media plans.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in media planning and execution.
Results:
- Achieve high retention rates by delivering effective and accurate media plans.
- Maintain minimal error rates in media planning and execution.
- Ensure efficient delivery of media campaigns across multiple channels while meeting deadlines.
- Proactively identify and secure upsell opportunities to grow client portfolios.
- Follow Primal’s processes and documentation standards to uphold quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in media planning and digital marketing campaign management.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital media platforms and tools for campaign monitoring and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients effectively.
