Our Client is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team as a strategic advisor to leadership, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, and Talent Management. This role supports key Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
In this position, you will work closely with business leaders and local HR teams to design and deliver integrated HR solutions that drive business performance, enhance employee engagement, and support sustainable organizational growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing performance frameworks, talent review processes, and succession planning strategies that ensure a robust leadership pipeline and workforce capability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting HR data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and evaluate the impact of HR initiatives across the region. Experience in Learning & Development, with the ability to lead and promote L&D initiatives, is a significant advantage. Additionally, familiarity with managing HRIS systems and leveraging technology to optimize HR processes is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders and local HR teams across Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam), providing expert advice on Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, and Talent Management. • Design, implement, and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with market trends and support business objectives. • Develop and drive effective performance management frameworks, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback processes to boost employee productivity and engagement. • Lead talent review discussions, succession planning, and workforce capability initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and future readiness. • Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, support data-driven decisionmaking, and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs across the region. • Collaborate with or lead Learning & Development initiatives that foster continuous growth and align with organizational needs. • Manage HRIS systems and leverage technology to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities. • Serve as a catalyst for change by supporting organizational transformation efforts and promoting a culture of agility and innovation. • Drive employee engagement initiatives to build a positive work environment and enhance overall employee experience. • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels through excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring alignment and collaboration between HR and business teams.Support employee engagement initiatives related to rewards and recognition. • Facilitate training for managers and HR teams on performance management and compensation policies. • Participate in regional HR projects related to rewards, HRIS implementation, and process improvements Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. IHRP-CP certification is an advantage. • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on compensation & benefits and performance management. Having experience in Learning & Development - and the capability to drive L&D initiatives - is a bonus. • Experience working with multi-country HR operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. • Hands-on experience managing HRIS systems (e.g., DarwinBox, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar), with a strong understanding of system functionalities, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities. • Solid understanding of Singapore Labour Laws, with additional knowledge of HR practices and regional regulations (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam) preferred • Deep understanding of compensation structures, bonus plans, benefits administration, and performance management best practices. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and interpret trends related to turnover, headcount, productivity, performance, and engagement etc. Able to translate insights into actionable strategies and support predictive workforce planning through data modelling and scenario analysis. • Experience working with and managing predominantly white-collar workforces, understanding their unique needs, motivations, and challenges. • Demonstrates high levels of self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal sensitivity in all interactions. • Skilled at managing workplace conflict professionally and thoughtfully, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. • Agile and adaptable, able to respond quickly to shifting business priorities and market conditions. • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver meaningful business impact through people initiatives. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt across diverse environments. • Fluency in English is required
