Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and strategies for the Investor Relations function.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop the overall strategic Investor Relations plans.
- Develop budget, forecast and monitor budget utilization for the Investor Relations function.
- Set the messaging and tone for communication with research analysts, institutional investors and retail investors for the Group.
- Provide direct management and cultivation of the Group's research analysts, institutional investors and retail investors and be their main and first point of contact for the Group.
- Provide direct communication with research analysts, institutional investors and retail investors on Group wide strategy and SBU operation statistics.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics for the Investor Relations function through regular feedback and updates to the Board and senior management on investment community’s perception, and their view of operating and financial results and unit price performance.
- Establish the optimum type and mix of shareholders, and develop suitable targeting initiatives to achieve the desired mix.
- Represent CapitaLand to attend and / or speak at real estate / industry specific conferences.
- Plan, organize and accompany senior management on non-deal roadshows / conferences to meet investors.
- Work with senior management on quarterly results slides and consolidate data on a Group wide basis for quarterly business update to the Board.
- Oversee the production of annual report for CapitaLand Limited and its REITs (Group) and the Investor Relations page in CapitaLand’s website.
- Represent Investor Relations function in the yearly Annual General Meeting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Communications or other-related discipline
- 10 years of experience in Management and in an Investor Relations or Investment Management role
- Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital market trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics and customer trends
- Meticulous and inquisitive with excellent communication skills. Must be client oriented.
- Skilled at building PowerPoint slides and well-versed in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Bilingual and excellent written and spoken English
