The Product Manager is a management level position responsible for running and development of Custody product for Thailand market. It also entails market specialist function to manage offshore clients who invest in Thailand market. The role also entails delivering superior client satisfaction and proactive management of service. The Position will work closely with Client Service team on operational issues impacting the target clients and understand clients’ key service needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value for our clients and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
- Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
- Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
- Build & maintain positive working relationships with assigned clients and fund managers through an active calling program that ensures optimal service.
- Identify and understand client requirements across the entire securities services value chain in order to proactively recommend process improvements and enhancements to meet clients’ needs.
- Utilize early warning process to identify and resolve client service issues before they are escalated to Client at Risk
- Become an expert on the customer’s operating business.
- Monitor client satisfaction
- Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
- Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
- Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreements
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience
- Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
- Functional experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, or analytics
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
