Role overview :
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data & Market Research Intern to support our sales and growth teams. This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, and CRM operations. The intern will play a key role in helping identify leads, analyze market data, and improve the quality of our CRM pipeline. You’ll work closely with our sales leaders, including the Country Director, and learn how to turn insights into impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a strong understanding of Darwinbox's products and HR tech ecosystem through training and hands-on learning.
- Conduct secondary research to identify potential target companies and decision-makers across Indonesia.
- Build and manage prospect lists using tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, and other platforms.
- Track relevant news and company updates for targeted leads; organize insights into shareable formats.
- Map key decision-makers and create org charts for target companies.
- Qualify leads and update CRM (HubSpot) with accurate information on leads, accounts, and pipeline stages.
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across the sales tech stack (HubSpot, Slintel, Apollo, etc.).
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to develop outreach strategies and contribute to lead generation campaigns.
- Schedule meetings through email or LinkedIn and follow up to ensure conversions.
- Create summary presentations and weekly reports on outreach performance and market findings.
- Assist the Country Director with market research surveys and campaigns, especially for strategic product categories.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Notion, or spreadsheet-based systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for professional email outreach.
- Comfortable with LinkedIn and generative AI tools like ChatGPT for research and content generation.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA students or fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in lead generation, digital marketing, or market research is a strong plus.
