Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Medical Advisor / Medical Affairs Manager – Pharma/ Nutrition with strong expertise in Medical Affairs to support our growing Pharmaceutical/ Medical Nutrition portfolio. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping medical strategy, driving scientific engagement, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires deep understanding across Pharmaceutical, and healthcare products.
What you'll do:
As a Medical Advisor/ Medical Affairs Manager – Pharma/ Nutrition based in Bangkok, you will play an integral role in driving the success of diverse product portfolios by developing evidence-based strategies that align with both patient needs and business priorities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams as you provide expert guidance on clinical and medical matters, engage with key opinion leaders to build trusted partnerships, and contribute meaningfully to educational programmes for healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all communications are scientifically sound and compliant with regulatory requirements. By staying abreast of developments within your therapeutic areas of focus—you will help shape the direction of medical affairs activities while supporting commercial objectives. Medical Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement medical strategies aligned with overall brand plans and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, regulatory, and market access teams.
- Plan and execute medical activities to support product lifecycle, from pre-launch to post-launch.
Scientific Engagement & KOLs Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key medical stakeholders.
- Drive scientific exchange and ensure accurate, evidence-based communication.
- Lead initiatives program to support early clinical use and adoption of innovative products.
Medical Education & Communication
- Provide scientific and clinical training to internal teams (sales, marketing, regulatory).
- Oversee development of medical materials, publications, and scientific communication content.
- Support medical advisory boards, roundtable meetings, and scientific symposiums.
Medical Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all medical activities and materials comply with internal policies, SOPs, and local regulatory guidelines.
- Provide support in reviewing promotional materials and ensuring scientific accuracy.
Medical Digital Initiatives
- Overseeing digital platforms and content aligned with medical objectives.
Drive innovation through digital tools in scientific engagement and internal medical training.
What you bring:
To excel as a Medical Advisor/ Medical Affairs Manager – Pharma/ Nutrition in this organisation, you will bring substantial experience from previous roles within medical affairs—ideally covering several therapeutic areas. Your approach should reflect not only technical proficiency but also genuine empathy for patients’ needs coupled with an ability to connect meaningfully with colleagues across functions. You should possess excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and demonstrate sensitivity when engaging with healthcare professionals or key opinion leaders. - Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working within medical affairs in the pharmaceutical sector with a proven track record of success across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Hands-on expertise as a Medical Advisor managing portfolios.
- Strong background in developing and executing medical strategies that drive both scientific excellence and business results.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build collaborative relationships with internal teams as well as external stakeholders such as KOLs.
- Ability to interpret complex clinical data sets and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences including non-medical colleagues.
- Experience supporting educational initiatives for healthcare professionals through presentations or development of scientific content.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing pharmaceutical communications along with high ethical standards.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication within an international team environment.
- A commitment to continuous learning demonstrated by participation in training or professional development activities.
