Role Description
This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full business process. You will work closely with your team leader and manager to execute and enhance our daily operations — particularly in sourcing and purchasing. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end procurement process—with a strong focus on sourcing—including supplier discovery and qualification, price negotiation, purchasing, and delivery coordination.
- Actively identify and secure parts from both local and international markets in a fast and efficient manner.
- Manage import operations, including documentation and coordination for both sea and air shipments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and market research to ensure competitiveness and budget alignment.
- Review and understand the content of procurement contracts/agreements to ensure alignment with company policies & operational needs.
- Handle administrative and documentation tasks throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Operate and manage procurement activities using our ERP system.
- Proactively expand the vendor network and share sourcing knowledge with the team.
- Take initiative in identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements to the procurement process.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
● Bachelor’s degree in any field.
● Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
● Fluent in both spoken and written English.
● Proven ability to quickly locate and source parts from the local market.
● Strong sourcing skills, especially in identifying and locating the right goods.
● Excellent negotiation skills and high attention to detail.
● Proactive in acquiring product knowledge independently.
● Goal-oriented with strong self-motivation and a problem-solving mindset.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
● Must own a personal laptop.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Proficiency in Japanese or Chinese is a strong plus.
● Hands-on experience using ERP systems.
● Experience with vendor development and expanding supplier networks.
