We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead business development in the utility sector. This role focusses on delivering cutting-edge Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and Microgrid technologies to national electricity authorities, independent power producers, and regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong technical understanding to drive growth and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engagement with utility clients, including electricity authorities, IPPs, and regulators.
- Identify and pursue strategic projects aligned with client infrastructure and energy goals.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with decision-makers to influence long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals meeting technical and commercial requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison for utility stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic deal-making and long-term account development.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
- Represent the company at utility-focused conferences, seminars, and networking events.
- Maintain accurate reporting on sales performance, pipeline development, and client feedback.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience working with utility companies or in electricity generation.
- Strong understanding of utility operations, procurement processes, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and coordinate cross-functional teams.
