Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented new graduate to join our team as a Quality Engineer (Software Tester). In this role, you will test software applications to ensure they meet quality standards before deployment. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to identify and resolve issues while ensuring smooth performance and a great user experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing to detect bugs, defects, and usability issues.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate software quality.
- Work with developers and business teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality products.
- Document and report test results, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in troubleshooting software issues and reproducing reported defects.
- Follow industry quality standards and best practices in software testing.
- Learn and apply testing tools and techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in software testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methods.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of software testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Postman is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
