What you'll do:
As Finance Manager / Financial Controller, you will play an integral role in managing the entire finance function for the Singapore office. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing detailed management reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles; conducting regular forecasting; analysing key performance indicators; supervising collections; negotiating with banks; coordinating insurance matters; supporting payroll administration; overseeing IT requirements related to finance; managing external bank relationships; authorising payments; ensuring compliance with group reporting standards; implementing internal audits; acting as Compliance Champion & Data Protection Officer; and staying abreast of legislative changes. - Monitor cash receipts from issued invoices under contractual agreements, proactively addressing any discrepancies or delays.

- Oversee the accurate registration of accounting operations based solely on documentary evidence, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts that align with strategic objectives, providing clear guidance for resource allocation.
- Prepare timely financial statements—including Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statements—and manage corporate tax filings, GST returns, transfer pricing documentation, and related reports.
- Build and maintain robust internal control systems for GST management, fund control on local GST accounts, monitoring withholding tax rates, and liaising with local tax authorities.

- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge as an accountant or fiscal consultant with deep familiarity in both local Singaporean and international financial legislation.
- Showcase advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications alongside hands-on experience using accounting software packages for state administration reporting purposes.

- Have experience building internal control systems for GST management including fund control on local GST accounts plus monitoring withholding tax rates.
