What you'll do:
As a Project Manager (Vulnerability Management) [Contract], you will:
- Coordinate all regional activities pertaining to the global vulnerability and compliance management initiative, ensuring meticulous alignment with organisational imperatives.
- Assist in the establishment of robust governance frameworks for IT Operations departments by refining or instituting new processes and procedures as circumstances dictate.
- Supervise daily operations encompassing scoping, scanning, reporting, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to guarantee seamless project progression.
- Collaborate closely with local stakeholders to enhance organisational efficiency and procedural efficacy throughout the vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Support Business IT departments by offering guidance on remediation measures while maintaining vigilant oversight of governance protocols.
- Evaluate, report upon, and address security risks emanating from vulnerabilities or compliance discrepancies, ensuring prompt implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with the Programme Lead for Infrastructure Vulnerability Management (IVM), harmonising regional actions with overarching strategic objectives and providing insightful feedback from the field.
- Deliver comprehensive updates to global, regional, and local stakeholders—including C-level executives—regarding project status, progress indicators, and critical milestones.
- Organise informative training sessions and awareness campaigns for regional stakeholders to foster adoption of IVM tools and best practices.
- Prepare detailed training materials designed to enhance stakeholder engagement with IVM tools, reports, and procedures while cultivating a culture of perpetual improvement.
What you bring:
To succeed as a Project Manager (Vulnerability Management) [Contract], you will:
- Demonstrable expertise in vulnerability assessment methodologies accompanied by substantive experience managing remediation processes within large-scale organisations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vulnerability management platforms such as Qualys, Nexpose, or Tanium Comply; practical implementation experience is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in infrastructure security principles together with familiarity in applying best practices across heterogeneous environments.
- Extensive background in programme or project management within IT security domains; experience steering hybrid project methodologies is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in utilising MS PowerPoint for effective reporting and presentation purposes.
- Thorough understanding of security compliance frameworks including PCI-DSS or ISO 27001; prior participation in regulatory compliance initiatives is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling positive influence over stakeholders whilst fostering collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
- Proven history of successful people management within multicultural settings; ability to inspire teams towards shared objectives is essential.
- Highly developed analytical faculties combined with problem-solving acumen that enable thoughtful resolution of complex challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are considered advantageous.
