Job responsibilities
Algorithms Developer (Low-Latency, Backtesting)
- Identify, size and prioritise arbitrage opportunities in fast-moving markets.
- Design, implement and productionise low-latency, high-throughput strategies.
- Backtest, benchmark and continuously optimise with clear performance metrics.
- Build for reliability (observability, graceful failure/auto-recovery, tests).
- Contribute to technical direction; challenge assumptions with data and rigour.
Platform Integrations Engineer (Web/API/HTML)
- Select approaches and build fast, reliable integrations to external platforms (APIs/HTTP, HTML/DOM parsing; occasional headless/vision-based automation when no API exists).
- Deliver low-latency data acquisition and robust action execution for trading/workflows.
- Monitor, harden and maintain connectors against site/API changes and edge cases.
- Instrument for latency, throughput, error rates; respond and resolve with urgency.
- Participate in design reviews; set realistic constraints and propose workable alternatives.
Job requirements
Algorithms Developer
- Must have: Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms/data structures) applied in production.
- Must have: Track record shipping performant, maintainable code (language-agnostic; e.g., Python/C++/Rust/Go).
- Evidence of data-driven iteration (profiling, latency/throughput tuning, backtests).
- Crisp communication in a small team; constructive disagreement when it improves outcomes.
- Comfortable with on-site, high-ownership startup work (ambiguity, speed, accountability).
Platform Integrations Engineer
- Must have: Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST, auth, rate-limits, HTML/DOM).
- Must have: Proven delivery of production-grade API/HTML integrations or scrapers (typically Python/JS; stack-agnostic if resilient).
- Pragmatic automation mindset (queues, retries, backoff, headless browsers).
- Excellent debugging under ambiguity; disciplined documentation and communication.
- Thrives in on-site, high-ownership startup settings; comfortable with change.
