Role:
The Account Manager, SEO is a crucial role that will enable us to deliver high-performing SEO outcomes through exceptional client service, strategic alignment, and seamless coordination with internal teams. Specifically, this entails:
- Acting as the key point of contact for SEO clients, ensuring communication is clear, consistent and aligned with goals.
- Translating client needs into actionable direction for the SEO delivery team.
- Guiding clients through SEO strategies and ensuring they understand the value and direction of their campaigns.
- Providing clients with updates, insights, and recommendations prepared by the SEO specialists.
- Ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and meet Primal's quality standards.
- Supporting ongoing client retention and identifying opportunities for account growth.
This role demands a mastery level of client management, communication, strategic thinking, project coordination, expectation management, and problem-solving. To be successful, you must have exceptional interpersonal skills, a service-driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
External
- Serve as the primary contact for SEO clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Lead client meetings, including onboarding, performance reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Communicate recommendations and insights created by SEO specialists in a clear, business-friendly way.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and deliver additional value.
- Ensure clients fully understand strategy, progress, and next steps.
Internal
- Coordinate with the SEO team to ensure smooth execution of all deliverables.
- Manage timelines, priorities, and communication between clients and internal teams.
- Ensure briefs, requirements, and client feedback are accurately communicated.
- Monitor overall account health and escalate issues when needed.
- Contribute to internal process improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure alignment with Primal’s internal processes and reporting standards.
Results:
- Strong and lasting client relationships with high retention.
- Clear and timely delivery of all SEO work by coordinating with internal teams.

Requirements:
- Experience in account management, preferably within digital marketing or agency environments.
- Strong understanding of SEO concepts (no hands-on execution required).

- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a quality client experience.
