What You’ll Do:
As Finance Manager in this growth-stage, innovation-driven organisation based in Singapore, you’ll play a central role in shaping financial operations and supporting strategic initiatives. You’ll oversee core finance functions—from daily transactions to statutory reporting—while partnering with senior leaders to drive planning, compliance, and scalability across the ASEAN region and new markets. This role combines hands-on financial management with the opportunity to influence broader business strategy.
- Manage daily finance operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and cash flow to ensure efficient processes.
- Lead month-end and year-end closings; prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee tax compliance (e.g., GST filings) and coordinate audits to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting cycles; analyse variances and deliver insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership on cash flow, funding, scenario planning, and growth initiatives.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes to support regional expansion.
- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial partners.
- Support and optimise accounting/ERP systems to enhance reporting and efficiency.
- Lead finance improvement projects, focusing on automation and better reporting.
- Provide financial expertise in cross-functional and regional projects.
What You Bring:
To succeed as Finance Manager in this fast-paced consulting environment, you bring solid experience across core finance functions, strong qualifications, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. With at least eight years in finance or accounting roles, you’re comfortable managing complexity while supporting strategic goals. Your ability to collaborate with both senior leaders and external partners, combined with attention to detail and commercial insight, makes you a trusted advisor and operator.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field provides a strong foundation.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, ideally in dynamic or high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to manage financial operations, reporting, and compliance with accuracy and efficiency.
- Experience in FP&A, budgeting, and business partnering to support strategic decision-making.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong commercial acumen to balance financial precision with business insight.
- Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and adaptable, thriving in change and driving continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting/ERP systems is a plus.
