Our client is a leading firm, looking to on-board an IT Infrastructure Specialist with strong experience to manage and support their Data Centre and Cloud infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region. This role offers the opportunity to work on both on-premises and cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless operations, migrations, and ongoing improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain regional data center and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and migration of workloads to Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Perform system monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and other operational tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver IT projects and infrastructure enhancements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting across servers, networking, and cloud services.
- Maintain IT documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, VMware or Hyper-V, backup solutions and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, endpoint management, and IT security practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience in a regional or multi-location environment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure, AWS, VMware, or ITIL are advantageous.
