The Tax Manager will lead group-wide tax strategy, compliance, and advisory functions to ensure regulatory alignment, optimize tax efficiency, and support the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies covering corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and top-up tax to optimize the company’s tax position and support long-term financial goals.

Compliance & Reporting: Oversee timely preparation and submission of all tax filings, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.

Transfer Pricing: Prepare and review Transfer Pricing documentation, ensuring intercompany transactions are aligned with OECD and local tax authority requirements.

Tax Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate tax exposures across the business while maintaining strong governance and documentation standards.

Tax Advisory: Provide professional advice to management on tax implications of business decisions, investments, new projects, and restructuring.

Tax Audit & Liaison: Handle communications with the Revenue Department, Customs, and BOI for audits, refund claims, and incentive applications to ensure smooth and timely resolutions.

Process Improvement: Work closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to streamline tax processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting efficiency through digital tools or automation.

People Management: Lead and develop a small tax team, providing coaching and technical guidance while promoting continuous learning and collaboration.

Cross-functional Projects: Support cross-border tax matters, mergers, or expansion initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory — ideally within a large multinational or industrial manufacturing environment.

Comprehensive understanding of Thai tax laws, accounting standards, and BOI incentive frameworks.

Proven track record managing corporate income tax audits, VAT refunds, and intercompany transactions.

Solid knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations, OECD principles, and Double Tax Agreements.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and work effectively under pressure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound commercial judgment and attention to detail.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Thai and English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
