POSITION SUMMARY
The Airfreight Operation Excellent Executive will be responsible for planning & executing operational activities related to Air Operations involving all the file management & operations activities post booking.

Key Responsibilities
1. Own all Air Operations activities under file management for the customers under purview:
- All File management activities post booking, Documentation, System Updates
- Operational finance
- Proactive communication with customer service in case of exceptions.
- Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling
2. Manage Shipping Instruction, HAWB/MAWB/Manifest
- Co-ordinate with Customer Service and send HAWB to Shipper
- Follow-up Shipping Instruction to Airline and validate MAWB
- Inform Counter that HAWB is ready for issuance
3. System update and Documentation
- Ensure Cargo-wise 1 is updated properly in timely manner
- Monitor ACI quality and timeliness
- Receive Shipping Document, validate and dispatch document in due course (if any)
- Monitor vendor performance related to documentation
4. Operational Finance
- Create invoice and dispatch the same to Customer/ Customer Service, resolve invoice queries
- Create PO and follow-up payment to supplier, resolve supplier Invoice queries & report incorrect invoices to Customer Service
- Manage overdue invoices and escalate to CS whenever applicable
- Update ICB and follow-up payment
5. Other Key Responsibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues / escalations
- Monitor corrections required and data quality in invoice
- Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling
- Prepare operational reports assigned by Team Leader / Manager
- Other task as assigned from managers/team leaders
Critical Competencies
- At least 01 year of professional working experience at similar role(s) in Airfreight Freight Forwarding companies
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant majors
- Knowledge of Airfreight Specific Loading Devices (ULD's), Dangerous Goods (DG), IATA is a must
- Practical experience with Cargo-wise 1 system is a big plus
- Language Proficiency: Native Vietnamese level, Fluent English level
- Understand and be able to operate relevant operational processes, relative to inbound / outbound shipments and related customs requirements.
- Familiarity and capability of using relevant tools / documentation (airway bills, cargo, software…) and product specific jargon.
- Know Potential Volumes, traffic flows, key clients and competitive environment in the marketplace.
- Collaboration mindset, logical thinking, sharp mindset, flexibility & pro-active in analysis & solving problem to adapt with urgency of airfreight service.
- Ability to understand and anticipate client needs, business trends and associated potential for revenue generation in selected target industries / trade lanes
- Ability to design differentiating consolidation solutions for Maersk that can increase closing rates for chosen clients, verticals, trade lanes
- Ability to effectively negotiate Win/Win agreements with internal and external customers, and service partners.
