What you'll do:
As the Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager you will play an instrumental role in ensuring that all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality are managed effectively across diverse mining operations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement within existing HSEQ frameworks and implementing effective solutions that promote operational excellence.
- Ensure all site activities comply with ISO standards and SMKP regulations through regular audits, inspections, and proactive risk assessments.
- Develop and deliver training programmes for site-based HSE teams to build capacity in hazard identification, incident investigation, emergency response planning, and safe work practices.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to report on HSEQ performance metrics, provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation, and support business objectives.
- Champion a strong safety culture by modelling responsible behaviours and encouraging open communication regarding health and safety concerns among all employees.
