Reporting to CEO, you, as a visionary Head of Data Engineering, are expected to lead the arcthiecture of data & empower the fast-growing team of data/ML engineers
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute company data strategy
- Lead data governance, privacy, and compliance
- Build modern data infrastructure (data lakes, vector DBs, feature stores)
- Drive AI/ML model deployment and integration
- Transition analytics to real-time, intelligent systems using LLMs and RAGs
- Champion data literacy and responsible AI innovation
Requirements
- 10+ years in data, analytics, or AI/ML roles; 5+ years in leadership position, ideally serving Data Engineering Manager
- Experience managing, empowering & leading teams from 10 members
- Proven success in deploying AI/ML models at scale
- Deep expertise in LLMs, RAGs, vector databases, and MLOps
- Strong strategic thinking and executive communication, excellent communications skills (with English too)
- Nice to have experience within e-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Consumer industry
