What you'll do:
As the Regional Compliance Officer for Southeast Asia and Greater China, you will safeguard the organisation’s reputation by promoting ethical behaviour and regulatory adherence through tailored compliance frameworks that balance local nuances with global standards. You will deliver training, provide expert guidance, lead investigations, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programmes;
- Conducting risk assessments;
- Proactively invesitgating to ensure no non-compliance;
- Addressing compliance gaps;
- Preparing detailed reports;
- Staying updated on evolving regulations; and
- Ability to work cross-functional teams.
What you bring:
To excel as the Regional Compliance Officer for Southeast Asia and Greater China, you will bring proven experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions, with a proactive approach to investigations, policy development, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Extensive experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within multinational organisations operating in Southeast Asia or Greater China is highly desirable.
- A deep understanding of regional laws, regulations, and cultural considerations affecting business operations is essential for success in this role.
- Strong analytical skills that allow you to assess risks accurately and develop practical solutions are necessary for this position.
- A relevant bachelor's degree in law, preferably for a reputable university.
