An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join a renowned hospitality team at a prestigious resort in Singapore. This role offers you the chance to shape and implement procurement strategies that directly impact the smooth operation and success of a luxury resort environment. What you'll do:
As Procurement Manager, you will play an essential role in shaping the way resources are sourced and managed throughout the resort. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working hand-in-hand with multiple departments to anticipate their needs while ensuring every purchase aligns with budgetary goals. You will be entrusted with building robust supplier networks through careful selection processes and ongoing relationship management. By overseeing contract negotiations and monitoring supplier performance, you will help maintain the highest standards expected by guests. Your ability to analyse market trends will allow you to make informed decisions that drive cost savings without compromising quality.
* Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods for all resort operations.
* Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and plan accordingly to support seamless daily operations.
* Engage with department heads to identify synergies across purchasing requirements with the goal of achieving substantial cost savings for the resort.
* Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers by conducting thorough market research and due diligence to ensure quality standards are met.
* Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with suppliers while maintaining positive long-term relationships built on trust and mutual benefit.
* Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and product quality to guarantee compliance with the resort’s high standards and expectations.
* Ensure all procurement activities adhere strictly to hotel policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices for transparency and accountability.
* Work collaboratively with the finance team to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payments efficiently for accurate financial reporting.

* A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline provides you with the foundational knowledge required for this role.
* A proven track record of four to six years’ experience in a similar capacity— within the hospitality sector—demonstrates your capability to handle complex procurement challenges.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively across departments while building rapport with suppliers.
* Excellent communication abilities ensure clarity when negotiating contracts or presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
* A dependable approach ensures that all tasks are completed accurately within deadlines while supporting team objectives.
* A deep understanding of compliance requirements guarantees that all procurement activities align with legal standards as well as internal policies.
* Experience managing tender processes—including interviews, evaluations, site visits, and awards
