A leading MNC in Singapore is seeking an Integrated Facilities Management Manager to oversee the delivery of exceptional hard and soft services across multiple sites. This role offers you the opportunity to be the key point of contact for both employees and vendors, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement in facilities management.
What you'll do:
As an IFM Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the full spectrum of facilities services across multiple sites in Singapore. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around building strong inter-personal relationships with stakeholders, acting as the primary liaison between employees and vendors, and ensuring that all operational issues are resolved promptly with sensitivity. You will coordinate committee meetings that foster communal decision-making, monitor vendor performance closely against agreed standards, and provide thoughtful guidance to encourage continuous improvement.
* Proactively engage internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure their service expectations are understood and consistently fulfilled through effective communication and relationship-building.
* Serve as the on-site key point of contact for both integrated facilities management vendors and employees, facilitating prompt resolution of operational issues with empathy and consideration.
* Implement robust escalation procedures for problem reporting, ensuring that concerns are addressed efficiently and sensitively to maintain a pleasant workplace environment.
* Organise and manage the organisation’s Integrated Facilities Management Committee meetings, fostering open dialogue and communal decision-making among participants.
* Coordinate and monitor vendor performance against deliverables set out in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as well as company requirements, maintaining dependable oversight of outsourced services.
* Provide advisory support to vendors on operational matters, sharing knowledge generously to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
* Prepare detailed monthly management reports for both the Management Committee and IFM Committee, presenting findings in a clear, honest manner that encourages shared understanding.
What you bring:
To excel as an IFM Manager, you will bring extensive experience managing facilities operations, soft services focused, across diverse environments such as offices, laboratories or manufacturing sites. Your background may include exposure to hospitality or service industries such as educational institutions or Hospitals where customer care is paramount. You will have developed strong skills in vendor management—monitoring performance against SLAs—and possess a deep understanding of how outsourced services can be optimised through collaborative strategies.
* Possess a Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building services, business administration, engineering or other related fields
* Bring at least 10 years’ proven experience in facilities management encompassing both hard and soft services across varied settings such as offices, manufacturing sites, education or hospitals
* Demonstrate exposure to hospitality or service industries which enhances your customer focus and ability to deliver considerate solutions tailored to diverse needs.
* Showcase practical knowledge of vendor management for outsourced services including monitoring SLAs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Utilise excellent interpersonal skills when engaging internal stakeholders or external partners so that collaborative relationships flourish throughout the organisation.
* Apply sound judgement when implementing escalation procedures for problem reporting so that issues are resolved gently yet effectively without disruption.
